What: Offers preschool education in Marin City
Why: “When teachers at the Marin Horizon school in Mill Valley, realized that the children who were coming to them on scholarships from neighborhoods like Marin City, where not able to keep up academically, because they did not have the same preschool opportunities as their classmates, the board created the Horizon Community School.
