EACH Scholarship for Excellence Program
The EACH Scholarship for Excellence Program makes scholarships available to brilliant but underprivileged primary, junior and senior secondary school students. By instituting the Scholarship for Excellence Program, it is our hope that financially challenged students will be motivated to pursue academic excellence by designating them as EACH Scholars.
Selection Criteria for Primary School Pupils
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the principals of participating schools based on need and academic excellence and recommended for financial assistance. The Board of Trustees of EACH-Ghana would interview the selected children and their parents in order to select the final pool of candidates who will receive funding. The specific details of the screening process are left to the discretion of the Board of Trustees of EACH-Ghana. However, EACH has a set of guidelines that the board must follow.
- Potential beneficiaries must be enrolled in public schools.
- Students must be among the top 15% of their class and be in need.
- Students must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarships.
- Outstanding students who meet the needy, top 15% and public school criteria may be recommended for enrollment in the EACH Second Family Program.
Selection Criteria for Junior Secondary School Students
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the principals of participating schools based on need and academic excellence and recommended for financial assistance. The selected students would be required to write a number of essays determined by the Board of Directors of EACH. Based on the essay results, qualifying students would be invited for an interview by the Board of Trustees of EACH-Ghana to select the final pool of students who will receive funding. EACH Second Family Program
The EACH Second Family Program was instituted to give donors an opportunity to establish a relationship with the children they are sponsoring. Sponsors who donate at least $100 may choose to enroll in the Second Family Program. Due to the potential for cultural enrichment, EACH would try to match sponsors with children who meet their desired characteristics of a child they would like to sponsor. We hope that sponsors would develop a long-term relationship with the children they sponsor.

Library Project
EACH will stock existing libraries with books. EACH also plans to initiate the establishment of new libraries in schools that do not have one. EACH is not in a position at this stage to finance the construction of new libraries. For this reason, schools that desire to participate in the new library project must have their own space to be stocked with books.
