“A Dollar for EACH Child’s Education”
Dear friends,
You have an opportunity to create opportunity. It is a well-known truth that access to a quality education is one of the most significant factors in the formation of an informed and well-developed society in today’s world. We believe you are already aware that this truth crosses boundaries of culture and nation.
Motivated by our own educational fortunes, we are passionate about making quality education available to gifted but underprivileged children in Africa. Through scholarships, mentoring programs and library development, we seek to contribute to the growth and advancement of Africa through education.
We hope that you will consider donating at least $1 to join our efforts in the spirit of unity, optimism and volunteerism by participating in the “A Dollar for EACH Child’s Education” Campaign. Although a dollar may appear to be a meager amount, it would surprise many to know that it pays for 1/3 of government approved fees for public education in Ghana for a year. Yet, many students are forced out of the classroom resulting from the inability of their parents to pay this fee. By participating in this opportunity, you will indeed be creating opportunity.
If you have any questions and/or concerns, please email us at info@eachfoundation.org or call the President, Anna Marie Siegel at 704-293-5652.
As the words of Winston Churchill, “We make a living with what we get, we make a life with what we give,” resonates in our minds, we hope you will join us in making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged in Africa. Secure online contributions could be sent to us through our website. Checks can also be mailed to The EACH Foundation, 7023 Duchamp Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215. Thank you very much for your magnanimous support.
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Amos-Abanyie
President
“Let Reading Be Cherished Book Drive”
Reading has the power to motivate and inspire the imagination. It is a valuable learning tool that contributes to a strong education. We ask you to join us in creating reading opportunities for students in Ghana.
Our newest campaign, “Let Reading Be Cherished,” aligns with educational organizations to collect new and used books to be used to create and improve libraries and enhance educational opportunities for Ghanaian students. We invite you to join “Let Reading Be Cherished” by holding a book drive at your school for EACH and encouraging your students to contribute to the lives of their neighbors across the ocean.
Books should be up-to-date, relevant and in good condition. We can make arrangements to pick up the books once we are informed of your desire to participate in this opportunity if you are in the Charlotte area. If you are interested in joining our campaign, please contact us at info@eachfoundation.org for more information. By participating, you and your institution will indeed be creating opportunity.
